  2. I think you have a sensitive style. I think the drawings with an illusion add an extra skill and interest. I think you could make more of the contrast between light and dark tones,make some strong darks,so you get more contrast and more drama?

  3. Thanks: I’ll try some more contrasted pieces. Solid dark spaces frighten me for some reason. Perhaps they’re hard to correct or plan? Not sure what my hang up is. Definitely need to woodshed it. @susan.smith.art.yoga ✌️

  4. They don’t have to be large areas. Try darkening a shadow down a tree, some ripples in the water, do it in a more gradual way at first, so your eye learns to see where a darker tone looks good where an area, untouched with any marks work

  5. The rock in the bottom part of the drawing, hanging above, in front of the water,would look great if it was bolder in style. It would add to its weight just suspended there…
