Being alone at 6am on this vast stretch of sand at Raudisandur in the Westfjords was quite an awesome introduction to Iceland’s amazing sense of isolation and wilderness. Crawling out of my tent to the sound of just the wind, the distant breakers and a few arctic terns high above was such an emotional and sensory experience.

  1. @nicholas_910 upgrade IG and then as you go to post hold your finger down on the first image in the pano then you can normal press on 2nd 3rd etc..

  2. @forgottenheritage What kinds of tides do they have there? Is it the camera lens or (judging from the amount of wet sand) do they actually come in that far?
